Grilled Asparagus with Lemon

This tasty grilled asparagus recipe is great as a starter or with grilled lamb and potatoes. This grilled asparagus recipe is easy to make and should take no more than 15 minutes to prepare and can be enjoyed by all the family.

• I have added a little twist to this recipe by using lemon and a little chilli, this is a popular recipe in the southern parts of Italy.

• Take a around 12 pieces of asparagus and make sure you snap off the hard, woody ends before placing the asparagus on a grill tray. Finely chop the garlic and the chili and add to the butter, place the butter on the asparagus and squeeze the lemon over the asparagus tips.

• Prepare your grill for medium cooking and place the tray of asparagus in the middle of your grill and cover with foil for 15 to 20 minutes until the grilled asparagus is tender.
