This wonderful grilled tuna recipe is Spanish in origin and is full of Latin flavor.
Grilled Tuna steaks is easy to make and should take no more than 15-20 minutes to
cook and 4 hours to marinade. This grilled tuna recipe should feed four people easily
when served with potatoes or salad.
It's important that you keep in mind a few simple tips when trying to grill tuna
and that is that it is quite a dry fish so you must be careful not to over-cook it.

Also make sure that you have your grill set to high heat, this also will help to

- Mix all the ingredients together in a blender or food processor - apart from the
tuna steaks, bay leaves and olive oil - and blend, adding small portions of olive
oil to form a paste. Once the paste is ready, prepare the tuna steaks and add the
paste to both side of the fish making sure you work it into both side thoroughly.
- Once this is done, place the tuna steaks in a dish and cover with the bay leaves.
Place the covered tuna steaks in the refrigerator for 4 hours to allow for all the
flavors to be absorbed into the fish.
- Prepare your grill for direct grilling, brush the grill grate with olive oil and
set your temperature to high. Place your tuna steaks onto the grill and cook for
5-7 minutes on either side. Brush each side of the grilled tuna steaks regularly
with the remaining olive oil.
