Marinated and Grilled Lamb Chops
Grilled Lamb Chops
Grilled lamb chops is a recipe I have prepared and includes the wonderful aroma and taste of herbs in a beautiful marinade to bring out the best in the grilled lamb chops. Grilled lamb chops with herbs should be cooked in a contained grill if possible or for slightly longer for an open grill.
Grilled Lamb Chops Ingredients
- 10 rib loin cutlets
Grilled Lamb Chops Marinade Ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 3 tablespoons of chopped oregano
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Prepare the chops for grilling by nicking the edges to ensure they don’t curl. Before you place your lamb chops on the grill, prepare the marinade by adding all the marinade ingredients into a bowl and mixing together thoroughly. Once the marinade is ready, place the sauce into a big enough then marinade the lamb chops for around 30 minutes.
Once this is done, place the lamb chops on your grill. The grill should be set to medium heat and if possible cover the lamb chops with a hood to ensure even cooking. Cook the lamb chops for 4 minutes on either side to give you a medium rare result. If you prefer your grilled lamb chops well done then cook for another 3-4 minutes on either side.
Grilled lamb chops are best served with a good salad or roasted vegetables.
